1. Go and get pizza at Franco Manca

Franco Manca is a firm favourite of, well, anyone who’s ever been, and they’re doing a KILLER deal for Valentine’s Day. You can get yourself two pizzas, a bottle of wine (or four beers) and two desserts for just £30. As if Franco Manca wasn’t already affordable enough! To be honest even if you don’t have a date, it’s probably worth grabbing a friend and making the most of this deal anyway.

2. Go and see a West End show

There’s nothing more feel good than a West End musical: so if you’re looking to impress on Wednesday, why not surprise your date with two tickets to one of London’s many hit shows? They don’t always have to be expensive either. You can get great last minute deals at the box office, or through apps like TodayTix.

3. Get the Prosecco in for a romantic night at home

Nothing beats some bubbles and some good food – and if you head to Asda you could get your Prosecco for just a fiver, and two steaks for £7. Dinner for 2 for £12? Unless you hate cooking this one could be ideal, and when you’ve had your fill you can snuggle on the sofa for some Netflix and chill.

4. Put in a Late Shift at the National Portrait Gallery

Every Thursday London’s popular National Portrait Gallery stays open until 9pm. It’s totally free, and could see you impress your date with your taste for culture. You could tie this in with some cocktails at a nearby bar, or a romantic stroll across Trafalgar Square and through Soho.

5. Enjoy some friendly competition at a boozy bowling alley

If you think bowling is a kids’ sport, you’re mistaken. It’s had an update in recent years, with a number of trendy bowling alleys popping up that have the added fun of cocktails and a seriously great soundtrack. Head to Rowan’s in Finsbury Park for the best alcoholic slushies you’ll ever try, a great arcade, a boogie and some boozy bowling.
